The Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce hosted a “Cash Mob” at Aloha Grown in downtown Hilo on Thursday.
During these events, chamber members assemble at an HICC member business to make purchases and help uplift the local business and overall community.
The first Cash Mob took place at the new Little Caesars in Keaau and the second was at the Most Irresistible Shop in Hilo.
HICC is hoping to host a Cash Mob every two months to feature more Hawaii Island businesses.
Aloha Grown has been in business for 13 years and has stores in Hilo, Waimea and Kailua-Kona, which opened recently.
